Perhaps, you are familiar with Pantone’s color of the year. They choose a color from their library and declare it as that year’s color. It’s an inspiring event for us creatives, an excuse to get inspiration for new creations, new designs.
After choosing a vivid color like “Living Coral” for 2019’s color, Pantone went with a calmer tone for this year and announced its 2020 color of the year as Classic Blue.
A sunrise at foggy mountains. That was what classic blue reminded us of when we first saw the color. With this vision in our mind, we illustrated a minimal landscape that fits inside the iconic Pantone frame.
