Accessibility

Susam Creative, Inc. (“susam,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to making our website at susam.co (the “Site”) accessible to everyone. We believe that good design works for all people, and accessibility is a core part of how we think about user experience.

1. Our Commitment

We design for people. All people. Accessibility is not an afterthought or a compliance checkbox for us. It is an extension of the same principle that drives everything we do: understanding how people actually experience what you build, and making it work better for them.

If we are going to help our clients create user experiences that connect with their customers, we need to hold ourselves to that same standard.

2. Standards We Follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), provide a shared standard for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

Current status: We consider our Site to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This means that some parts of the content may not yet fully conform to all accessibility criteria. We are working to identify and resolve gaps on an ongoing basis. This assessment is based on self-evaluation by our development team.

3. What We Do

We work to maintain the following accessibility practices across our Site:

  • Semantic HTML: We use proper heading structure, landmarks, and meaningful markup to support assistive technologies
  • Keyboard Navigation: All core functionality is accessible via keyboard without requiring a mouse
  • Color Contrast: We maintain sufficient contrast ratios between text and background colors to meet WCAG AA requirements
  • Alternative Text: Images include descriptive alt text so their content is available to screen readers
  • Touch Targets: We aim for interactive elements sized at a minimum of 44×44 pixels for comfortable use on touch devices
  • Form Labels: All form fields include clear, associated labels and accessible error messaging
  • Responsive Design: The Site adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels without loss of content or functionality
  • No Auto-Playing Media: We do not auto-play audio or video content in our own Site components

4. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the Site may not be fully accessible:

  • Third-Party Embeds: Some embedded content from third-party services (such as video players or scheduling tools) may not meet all accessibility standards
  • Older Content: Some existing content may have accessibility gaps that we have not yet addressed
  • PDF Documents: Downloadable documents may not be fully optimized for screen readers

We are actively working to improve these areas. If you encounter a specific barrier, please let us know.

5. Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our Site. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

Email: privacy [at] susam [dot] co

Please include a description of the issue and the page where you experienced it. We aim to acknowledge your feedback within 5 business days and work to address the issue. If you do not receive a response within that time, please follow up at the same email address.

6. Third-Party Content

Our Site uses tools and services from third-party providers. We select these tools with accessibility in mind, but we cannot guarantee that every third-party component meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA in all cases. Where we identify issues, we work with our providers to improve accessibility or seek alternative solutions.

7. Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a one-time project. We review our Site for accessibility issues as part of our development process and make improvements on an ongoing basis. As our company grows, we plan to conduct a formal third-party accessibility audit and will update this statement to reflect our progress.
